SEGA today has announced the long awaited sequel to Sonic & All-Star Racing. The huge cast of all-stars now all have their own unique transforming vehicles, all made to run on all kinds of terrain.

SEGA ANNOUNCES: SONIC & ALL-STARS RACING TRANSFORMED SCREENSHOT

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed has a great line up, including some of the returning racers such as, Sonic, Dr. Eggman and AiAi. They're also rivaling some newcomers such as Gilius Thunderhead of Golden Axe and Vyse of the Skies of Arcadia. The new tracks are inspired from some of SEGA's old games like Super Monkey Ball and Panzer Dragoon.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is coming back with some new mechanics allowing the racers to power up quickly and race in style. SEGA has also added in a balanced weapon system, allowing all the weapons fired to either be blocked or evaded once you gain the skill, making the races great and fun new experience in air, on water or racing on land. Let the new and old rivals be settled in an online multiplayer, where you can race in either Grand Prix mode or the competitive Battle Arena.

Prove that you are the best All-Star in the new Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for the Xbox 360, PlayStaion 3, Nintendo 3DS, and PC in late 2012!
