After more than two decades of publication, Nintendo Power is finally calling it quits. Its final issue is slated for release on December 11, and its front cover has already wound up on the Internet. Longtime fans will probably be pleasantly surprised to see that the cover resembles the very first issue's cover.
Of course, Nintendo Power's end isn't completely unexpected; the Internet has severely reduced its usefulness, which has been the main reason for many people to subscribe to it. That doesn't mean it's any less sad to see it go, though.
