Mark your calendars for October 16, because that's when the Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty DLC for Borderlands 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC) is hitting digital retailers. The upcoming adventure will probably feel a lot like Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, as you'll be taking a visit to Oasis, which Gearbox Software president Randy Pitchford describes as "more like Tatooine than an ocean." You'll even be able to drive around in a Sand Skiff vehicle.
That being said, there'll still be pirates. And booty. No, it's probably not that kind of booty. Expect lots of shiny, fancy weapons and shields to collect.
